Clan War - Winning Battle Plan

 CLAN WAR BATTLE PLAN

 Clan Battle,

 Method Of Attack :

  1) Adjust your war base when asked to before the war, its the combined knowledge of the clan that will make your base defend better in war.  Ask questions,  it's a great way to learn and makes your time spent playing more enjoyable.

  2)  PREPARATION DAY, First day when war is started  :
        War base layouts and changes,  troop donations from top players to your war base castle occurs this day. study the opposing bases and choose your attacks,  discussion  in chat if you need  help or suggestions.

  3) WAR DAY : actual battles start:
      Lower 1/3 of clan attacks,  discussion of bases to attack &  strategy to use, top players offer support in the form of troops/advice to lower 1/3,  ask for help if needed, attack for 8 hours,  this gives lower third best chances for success.  Following 16 hours left the rest of clan plans &  carries out attacks with the very top 5 waiting in reserve to do these attacks in the last 8 hours,  this gives the middle 1/3 a 4 hour head start for TH attacks.  Last 4 hours is cleanup : where you go for easy stars progressing once again up the enemy clan listing to maximize stars,  all unused attacks focus now on easy star gains.

I realize due to time zones and such this isn't  perfect,  but if we follow it best we can it will help us succeed in battles. A great clan is flexible.

A few pointers for success and fun play :

1)  DO NOT PANIC!!!
 If we start out slow and are not in the lead,  it is extremely important that we do not panic.  This happens.  DO NOT CHANGE THE BATTLE PLAN!!!!   Changing tactics or changing strategy in any competition, out of panic, is a recipe for disaster.   STAY THE COURSE, STICK WITH THE OUTLINED PLAN, KEEP THE CLAN STRATEGY.   It is a time proven strategy that will work even against the toughest opponent.

  2)  The troops placed in the Clan War map are for DEFENSE only.
    They are not your Clan Castle troops for OFFENSIVE battles.   When you go to battle in the Clan War map, think about what type/level of troop request you NEED to help you have a successful attack.  Request for BOTH battles, thoughtfully.

2.   General rule is highest levels do the war base donations to maximize chance of success,  otherwise when donating in the Clan War , donate only Level 4 Archers or Wizards unless the member requests something different.  DO NOT DONATE GOBLINS, GIANTS, OR WALL BREAKERS IN THE WAR MAP CLAN CASTLE.  We need troops that can defend against both Air and Ground troops.

3.  Make sure you plan to WIN STARS, not resources in Clan Wars.  The raid tactics used in the general raids will not work in Clan Wars.   You must plan to attack defenses first and plan to annihilate the enemy.  DO NOT USE Goblins!!

4.  Attack near or around your level, within your Target Range (within 5 above or 5 below your Clan War rank, starting count at your rank...or, simply add 4 and subtract 4 from you base rank to determine your target range)   Do not jump to high or too low.  Dropping to low takes away the opportunities for our lower levels, and going to high reduces your chances for a solid win.  Going low is acceptable on a 2nd attack to clean up missing stars for the win.

5.  Scout the enemy area and plan your attack smartly, and battle smarter.  Watch replays if base has been already attacked,  use this great piece of information to successful  attacks.  Go to chat and ask for advice, we are here to help you. Find the weak spots, attacking from the weaker spots first is usually your best bet with ground troops.  If using Dragons, it's best to spread them in a straight line so they run in a solid flank across the base.
